Calvin was under a year old when he came in to an all-breed rescue in Kentucky. He came in with 2 other dogs and they all had chemical burns on their body. Apparently some sick individual in that area has also done this with several other dogs but still hasn't been caught. He is doing well in foster care and is great with other dogs and is very social and loving, and a typical Samoyed adolescent who is finally getting a chance to be a puppy. Unfortunately, he has some intestinal problems that are still undiagnosed. After several trips to different vets, they still are not sure why he continues to not maintain his weight properly and he vomits often. He is doing better on special food but still needs further testing to find out why he has these problems. SamUrgency donors are helping by paying for some of this testing so Calvin can recover and be ready to go to his forever home!
