Holly

9/10/2004:

Holly was turned in to an Indiana shelter because her owners no longer wanted her. The local rescue organization was contacted to retrieve Holly, but when they took her for a vet check, the vet discovered she had Stage II heartworms. No wonder Holly didn't feel well! She is currently undergoing treatment and the prognosis is good for a complete recovery.

Holly

9/10/2004:

Holly is a sweet girl. At a young age seven she still likes to run and play with the best of them. She would prefer to not have a crowd of white furries but at the same time likes having a friend or two. Holly is a 100% inside dog and would not allow it any other way. She goes out and not more then two minutes later she is there at the door telling you she would like to come back in to be with you, please. Her fur is a little stained from being an outside neglected dog for so long but now that she is a healthy happy little house dog we have been getting her baths as often as possible to turn that yellow white. Holly enjoys he quiet time no matter who she gets it with. She likes to hang out with a little one and a good book and just the same she will lie at your feet for a late Saturday night show.
