Feb. 2005:

Meet Ritchey, a 5 year old, heartworm positive, stray from a shelter in the Dallas, Texas area. Lucky for this Sam boy, he was picked up by the North Texas Samoyed Rescue. He has already received his first heartworm treatment but now the hard part is keeping him quiet for 3 more weeks. After his treatment is finished he will be neutered and microchipped before he can begin looking for his forever home. Unfortunately, Ritchey has a problem with separation anxiety and he becomes very upset when left alone. Lynn is working to find a solution to Ritchey's issues and all the while keeping him calm and quiet while he finishes his recuperation. His prognosis is very good and there is no doubt that he'll be healthy and happy in no time, thanks to his friends at North Texas Samoyed Rescue.
